Our story
“Lalla Warda” was my grandmother.
Every spring she distilled her roses in the courtyard, in a copper qettara. The neighbours called her Lalla Warda, Lady Rose. I grew up among her bottles of rose water and the ghassoul she prepared for the Friday hammam.
Trained as a chemist, I took up her craft with traceable ingredients, short formulas and laboratory testing. Everything is still filled by hand in Kenitra, in small batches.
